Striker becomes Corinthians U17's top scorer this season after rout at Paulistão

Corinthians U17's impressive victory over AD Centro Olímpico, 7-0, last Saturday, brought important changes to the team's offensive statistics. One of the highlights of the match was striker Thiago Coelho, who left his mark and took the lead in Timãozinho's artillery this season.
With the goal scored in the clash valid for the sixth round of the Campeonato Paulista in the category, Thiago reached the mark of five goals in seven matches played in 2025. The striker surpassed Lucca Caramico, who has four goals in six games. The midfielder started the most recent duel between the reserves and has not participated in the rout since the beginning of the match.

In addition to changing positions at the top of the scorers list, the elastic score also changed the rest of the ranking. Jerry Vinicius was one of the main characters in the victory, finding the net twice, scoring two goals in just two appearances this season.
With this, the striker now shares third place among the team's top scorers alongside Rhyan Ladeira, who also scored against Centro Olímpico. Nathan William and Léo Rodrigues complete the group of players with two goals scored this year.
Following behind are athletes who have scored one goal each so far. Among them are Kevin Fernando, Miguel Moscardo and Matheus Rocha. The relationship also includes Brenno Augusto, Luan Banhado and Gabriel Cordeiro, all scorers in last weekend's rout.
In the table of Group 12 of the Campeonato Paulista, the result kept Corinthians in second place. The black and white team has 12 points after five matches played, behind only Ibrachina, who leads the group with 15 points.
Now, Timãozinho's focus turns to the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. The team's next match will be against Grêmio, in a match scheduled for June 9th, at 3pm, at Fazendinha.
