Spotify announces feature to "save" concert tickets for fans; understand

The streaming platform Spotify announced the "Reserved" feature, aimed at "reserving" tickets for artists' most engaged fans on the Premium service.

According to the company, the new feature will only be valid in the United States, but with expansion soon. With Reserved, Spotify will identify an artist's most dedicated fans and reserve two concert tickets for them, with a period set aside to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

"There will be significantly more superfans than available seats on a tour, so not every fan will get an offer," Spotify warned. The selection will be made based on factors such as reproductions, shares and other activities on the platform.

Booked offers will be based on concert locations, so if a tour is not playing in the user's region, they will not receive the opportunity. If you receive it, you will be able to purchase tickets for any show on the tour and choose the date, location and seats at the time of purchase.
