Spain beat Belgium 2-1 this Friday (10), at the SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles, and secured their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

The Spanish took the lead in the match with the goal scored by Fabián Ruiz. Shortly afterwards, the Belgians equalized with a header from Charles De Ketelaere, who found the net for the third time in this World Cup.

In the second half, Mikel Merino took advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Senne Lammens and declared the country's classification for the next phase.

With the result, Spain continues in the tournament and faces France in the semi-final. The clash takes place next Tuesday (14), at 4pm (Brasília time), at the AT&T Stadium, in Dallas, in the United States.
