SP opens selection of technical high school teachers with a salary of R$5,000
Seduc (São Paulo Department of Education) is accepting applications for the selection process aimed at hiring teachers for technical secondary education.
The vacancies are for part-time and full-time schools in the 91 Regional Education Units. The deadline for registration is June 19th and must be done on the FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) website, which organizes the panel. The fee is R$60.
Those approved must begin working in state classrooms from the 2027 school year on a fixed-term contract. Professionals with training in bachelor's degrees, bachelor's degrees or technologists and specialists with renowned knowledge and technicians with proven experience can register.
According to Seduc, the salary in the state of São Paulo for a 40-hour week is R$5,565.00. Teachers who already work in units of the Integral Education Program work exclusively and are entitled to an extra bonus in the amount of R$ 2,120.00.
The selection process will be divided into four stages. The first is the objective test, made up of 10 questions on pedagogical knowledge and 20 specific to the chosen area. Then comes the discursive, which must have 10 pedagogical knowledge questions and 20 specific ones.
Next, those interested must take a practical test, which will be a simulation of a video class lasting 5 to 7 minutes. Finally, the titles of those registered will be evaluated.
The areas covered are: management and business (administration, logistics and sales), environment and health (nursing, pharmacy and environment), information and communication (data science and systems development), natural resources (agribusiness), tourism, hospitality and leisure (accommodation) and control and industrial processes (electronics) and other curricular components of a technical nature that make up the other itineraries offered by Seduc-SP.
