Soy: Brazil exported 13.83 million tons in June, points out Anec

Soybean shipments totaled 13.83 million tons in June, a marginal increase compared to the 13.79 million tons exported in the same period in 2025, according to a survey by Anec (National Association of Cereal Exporters).

In the month, soybean meal (up 39%, with 2.32 million tons) and DDGs (up 103%, with 103 thousand tons) also showed an increase in exports. On the other hand, corn shipments fell 18% and totaled 466 thousand tons in June.

According to Anec, in total, cereal shipments in the month increased by 4% and totaled 16.7 million tons.

Year to date
In the first six months, soybean shipments totaled 72.5 million tons, an increase of 6.65% compared to the 68 million tons shipped in the same period of 2025. The main destinations were China (71%), Spain (4%) and Turkey (4%).

Shipments of soybean meal also grew (13%) and totaled 12.7 million tons, with the main destinations being Indonesia (18%), Thailand (12%), the Netherlands (9%) and Iran (9%).

Corn shipments (9.95%), with 6.22 million tons, and DDGs (48.69%), with 606 thousand tons, also increased. In total, grain shipments total 93.1 million tons, a jump of 7.23%.

Global demand drives investments in DDGS in Brazil

Forecast for July
For July, Anec estimates that total shipments will amount to 17.1 million tons, a reduction of 960 thousand tons in the annual comparison.

According to the association, the drop will be driven by the reduction in corn shipments (37.1%), which should total 2.48 million tons.

On the other hand, Anec estimates growth of 2.6% in soybean shipments, totaling 15.2 million tons. Soybean meal shipments are expected to increase by 9.5%, reaching 2.34 million tons. Shipments of DDGs should remain at the same level as in July 2025, with 50 thousand tons.
