Sóstenes says that Bolsonaro will forward an alliance between Michelle and Flávio

Leader of the PL (Liberal Party) in the Chamber, deputy Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ) stated this Friday (3) that former president Jair Bolsonaro should intervene in favor of Michelle Bolsonaro's presence in the future campaign of senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) for the Presidency of the Republic.

In conversation with the press during a party event in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the parliamentarian bet on a rapprochement between stepmother and stepson and pointed out the moment of disagreement as "temporary". He said he believes the two will "walk together."

"The alliance between Michelle and Flávio will be made by President Bolsonaro himself. I am convinced that Michelle Bolsonaro wants the best for her husband, just as her son, Flávio, wants the best for his father. Disagreements between families, this happens in all families and all of this is temporary", he declared.

The tension between Flávio and Michelle increased after the former first lady posted videos on her social networks in which she complained about the treatment received by her stepson, especially after the two's disagreement regarding the PL platform in Ceará.

As a result of the crisis, Michelle decided to abdicate the presidency of PL Mulher after a conversation with the party president, Valdemar Costa Neto.

According to interlocutors interviewed by CNN, the former first lady is considering giving up running for a seat in the Senate this year or even leaving the political scene.

The PL leader in the Chamber also highlighted Valdemar's role in resolving the crisis and once again bet on a positive outcome soon,

"Valdemar is talking to both of them, he is helping, he has contributed and I am sure that this will be overcome very soon", added Sóstenes.
