Solange Almeida reveals why she broke up with her husband; couple got back together in 2019

Singer Solange Almeida, 51, opened up about the end of her relationship with businessman Monilton Moura, 35, to whom she has been married since 2024.

Together a few years ago, they put an end to their romance about a decade ago. In 2019, they decided to resume their union.

According to the artist, people's prejudices infected her. "I was very ashamed, because we went out and people asked if he was my son. This time that we spent away from each other, I think it was necessary", she said last Sunday (31), in an interview with Eliana, on the program "Em Família", on TV Globo.

"You were going to leave a love story behind because of what people could imagine. And it's good that you're back", commented the presenter.

Still in the frame, Solange commented on her relationship with her children, Maria Esther, Estrela, Rafael and Sabrina. In the chat, she admitted the challenges of motherhood away from the stage and revealed that she misses her heirs, who have already left the family home.

Sabrina lives in Ireland, where she went to study and ended up getting married, while Rafael lives in Palmas, studying Medicine.

"Sabrina is living in Ireland, she went to study and ended up getting married there. And Rafa is in Palmas, he's studying medicine. And I know that one day everyone will fly away. So, this way, we raise our children for the world. They're happy, I'm happy too", he said.
