Small plane crashes into Beijing's tallest skyscraper
A small plane crashed into Beijing's tallest skyscraper this Friday (26), according to witnesses from the Reuters news agency. The city police went to the scene and isolated the area around the building.

Videos circulating on social media this Friday and confirmed by a g1 analysis, showed that a small plane crashed into the building (see above).
The impact broke two glass panels and left a hole in the building's facade. The aircraft, which according to Reuters was the size of a car, partially fell apart and fell into the street.
It was not yet known, until the last update of this report, whether the incident left people dead or injured.

There was a strong police presence at the scene, according to Reuters, with some access roads to the building closed to cars. Police officers were seen preventing people from taking photos and moving pedestrians away from the building.
The local government had not publicly commented on the incident until the last update of this report.
The Citic Tower building, also known as China Zun, is a 108-story skyscraper located in the financial district of Beijing, in the east of the city. It houses the headquarters of the state-owned conglomerate Citic Group and is the tallest building in the Chinese capital.
