Slayer celebrates 40 years of "Reign In Blood" with unique show in Brazil

Slayer will perform a special show in Brazil in 2026. The performance will be unique in the country and will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album "Reign In Blood", with the performance of the album in its entirety.

The show is scheduled for December 17th, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo. It will be the only chance for Brazilian fans to watch the classic played in its entirety, as the band's other festival performances will have different repertoires.

Released in 1986, "Reign In Blood" is Slayer's third studio album and the first for a major label, Def Jam Recordings, which later became American Recordings. The album is considered a landmark in thrash metal and heavy music.

The album has 10 tracks and is around 29 minutes long: "Angel Of Death", "Piece By Piece", "Necrophobic", "Altar Of Sacrifice", "Jesus Saves", "Criminally Insane", "Reborn", "Epidemic", "Postmortem" and "Raining Blood".

The extended version also featured "Agressive Perfector" and "Criminally Insane - Remix".

Slayer's current lineup features Tom Araya on vocals and bass, Kerry King on guitar, Gary Holt on guitar and Paul Bostaph on drums. The band returned to the stage in 2024, after the farewell announced in 2018.

The performance in Brazil will be opened by Kreator and Korzus. Pre-sales for Itaú customers begin on June 1st, at 10am, on the Livepass website. General sale opens on June 3rd, at 11am online and at noon at the official Allianz Parque ticket office.
