Sisu+: registrations close this Friday (19)
Registration for Sisu+ can be completed until this Friday (19) through the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education, in the Sisu section.
Participation in Sisu+ is restricted to candidates who have participated in the regular stage of Sisu 2026, enrolled in at least one course. The proposal increases the chances of access to public higher education within the same selection process, considering the available vacancies.
With Sisu+, the MEC (Ministry of Education) seeks to democratize access to higher education in public institutions.
How to register
Those interested in applying for Sisu+ must access the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education. Registration closes this Friday (19).
The candidate can choose up to two courses independently of the choices made in the initial selection in January this year.
In addition, it is possible to indicate the first and second course options desired.
After the registration period, which ends this Friday (19), the only regular call will be announced with the names of those pre-selected on July 24.
To apply for the waiting list, however, you must express interest from June 24th to 26th. The regular registration process is scheduled for June 25th. Registration for those selected from the waiting list will take place on July 1st.
Sisu+
The new selection does not constitute a new selection process, but configures a new selection from Sisu 2026. The proposal was structured by the MEC to improve the entry of candidates for higher education.
In courses where there are vacancies, such as undergraduate, engineering and other strategic areas that the country needs to develop, Sisu+ can expand access to these vacancies because it centralizes what was previously dispersed across dozens of different university websites.
