"Silo": to CNN, cast says it's impossible to relax in season 3

The 3rd season of "Silo" promises to explain many mysteries of the Apple TV+ series' narrative that were left behind. With the first new chapter available this Friday (3), the science fiction production should finally reveal how the silos came to be, but it will also develop a lot of the characters' stories.

For CNN Brasil, protagonist Rebecca Ferguson commented on the importance of playing Juliette, a strong character, but who, at the same time, deals with situations of trauma and weaknesses.

"It's great, the interesting thing is: what makes Juliette such a strong character to play? I think, for me, it's every bit of vulnerability, it's every crack, it's the trauma that she's been through, and overall, I think it's the entire arc that she gets to experience from season one to season three."

"Best season we've ever done"
Performer of Robert Sims, Common compared the launch of the new season of "Silo" to a musical project, in reference to his 35-year career as a rapper.

"I really think people are going to love this season. I've been telling my friends that when season three comes out, it's going to be like we're releasing new music. I'm really excited about that," he said.

Alongside actress Alexandra Riley, who plays his character's wife, Camille, in the series, the artist said that the couple will gain prominence in the episodes, but will also go through twists and turns.

"I think people are going to be surprised by the way they're handling the characters. Not just our characters, but a lot of other characters and the direction the story is going. A lot of things that you think you know are going on, you actually don't. There are high points in this season and you see even more of the human side of the stories in it."

Common stated that the development of Robert and Camille will make the public identify with the couple better. "For me, it's the best season we've ever had," he defined.

"New, fresh and bold"
Alexandra Riley guaranteed that the decisions made by the characters will leave the audience surprised and asking: "what are you doing?" all the time.

"That's why it's so exciting. It's something new and fresh. It's so bold, and you can never relax watching this show. We've known this since the first season: you have no idea where your character is going to end up the next week," he said.

She concluded: "I love the fact that they're messing with these two a little bit, and it's going to give the audience a jolt; it's going to be kind of having to pick sides and stuff like that. It's very emotional, so I hope they keep going down that path."

Apple TV+ will release 1 episode of the 3rd season of "Silo" out of a total of 10 per week.
