Show confirmed with duo Edson and Hudson for birthday festivities in Sinop

Today, the city hall announced the hiring of the country duo Edson and Hudson, who should be part of the presentation schedule at Festeja Sinop 2026, on September 4th, in celebration of 47 years of political-administrative emancipation and 52 years of the founding of Sinop. The expected fee, according to the notice, is R$500,000. Starting at 11pm, the show will last approximately 1h30 and will take place at the Gigante do Norte stadium, as Só Notícias found out. The duo occupies a prominent place in the history of Brazilian country music for combining tradition, romanticism and rock influences in their own language. Formed by brothers Edson Cadorini and Hudson Cadorini, the formation was defined in childhood, amid the family's circus universe, performing in circuses, bars, rodeos and freshman shows until gaining national recognition in the early 1990s. Participation in Raul Gil's program was a turning point for the artists' careers, who quickly attracted attention due to Edson's vocal power and Hudson's guitar solos, something unusual in country music at the time. The first big national success came with the song "Azul", released in the early 2000s, considered a classic of romantic country music and followed by several other hits that crossed generations, such as "Porta-Retrato", "Foi Deus", "Deixa Eu Te Amar", "Ela Encasquetou", "Mil Razões Para Chorar", "Te Quero Pra Mim", "Galera Coração" and "O Grande Amor da Minha Vida". In terms of discography, important works such as No Limite da Saudade (2001), O Chão Vai Tremer (2004), Galera Coração (2005), Duas Vidas, Dois Amores (2006), Na Hora do Buteco (2013), De: Edson para: Hudson (2014) and the recent project Foi Deus (2024) stand out. The album "Foi Deus", recorded at Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo, brought together special appearances by big names in Brazilian music, such as Chitãozinho & Xororó, Gusttavo Lima, Maiara & Maraisa, Simone Mendes, Murilo Huff, Hugo & Guilherme and Matheus & Kauan. Even after decades on the road, the duo remains relevant in the digital environment. Currently, Edson & Hudson has around 2.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has over 625 million total reproductions on the platform.
