Shares of Petrobras, Vale and Itaú were the most traded in April, says B3
Shares from the oil, mining and banking sectors led the ranking of the most traded in April on the São Paulo stock exchange, according to a survey by Datawise+, a B3 solutions platform.
Petrobras' preferred shares (PETR4) lead the list of the most traded shares in the month, closely followed by Vale (VALE3) and Itaú Unibanco (ITUB4).
The top 10 is still dominated by well-known names in the market and with a strong weight in the index, such as Prio (PRIO3), Axia (AXIA3) and Bradesco (BBDC4).
The data considers the total financial volume moved at the buying end, calculated based on the price and number of shares acquired in the period.
B3 assesses that, in times of greater uncertainty in the global scenario, investors tend to concentrate operations in companies that are more liquid and directly exposed to macroeconomic factors, such as commodities and interest rates.
The survey also shows that behavior changes depending on the type of investor. Individuals, funds and foreign investors, for example, concentrate their negotiations on different securities, even within the same context.
