Shakira announces show in one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; check it out
Singer Shakira, 49, will perform at the Pyramids of Giza, in Egypt, as part of the "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" tour. The Colombian star announced a concert at the historic site, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, scheduled for November 28.
"I'm very happy to perform in Egypt, at the Pyramids of Giza. I love you all," he declared.
The last time Shakira sang at the venue was during her "Oral Fixation" tour in 2007.
Currently, the artist is preparing for the halftime show of the 2026 World Cup final, after participating in the tournament's opening ceremony.
The interpreter of "Hips Don't Lie" will share the stage with big names in international music, such as Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber and Burna Boy, at MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey, on the 19th.
In an interview with The Capital Evening Show With Jimmy Hill last Wednesday (8), the singer promised that the performance - coordinated by Coldplay singer Chris Martin, 49 - will be historic.
"It will be a shared halftime show... it will be something historic, five incredible artists, well, four incredible artists and me", he joked. "Madonna will be there, BTS, Bieber, Coldplay. I really hope Chris Martin sings too."
According to rumors, British singer Robbie Williams, 52, will perform alongside Italian star Laura Pausini, also 52, performing FIFA's official anthem, "Desire", on the stadium's lawn.
