The Senate Police opened an investigation to investigate the statements made by funk singer Misael Rangel da Silva e Souza - known as MC Misa - during an interview with the Frank Clips channel, on the TikTok platform, on Tuesday (26).

He stated that influencer Deolane Bezerra, arrested this week for alleged links with a criminal faction, was planning an attempt on the life of the senator and PL pre-candidate for President, Flávio Bolsonaro (RJ).

"The attack now that Bolsonaro's son will suffer, which was coordinated with Marcelinho and Deolane [...] These are situations that we, the world of funk, know everything about", he said.

Further on, the singer makes it clear that the "son of Bolsonaro" he is referring to is Flávio. "If Flávio runs the risk of winning [the elections], he's a huge disaffection, both for the left and for the people she [Deolane] carries with her, understand?"

MC Misa also said that politicians were involved with the alleged attack, but did not mention names.

The request to investigate the supposed plan was made by legislative police officer Bruno Ribeiro Fonseca, based on information collected by the intelligence sector of the Senate Police itself.

According to the document, which CNN had access to, the initial objective is to carry out a preliminary check on the veracity of the information.

If sufficient evidence is found, an investigation may be launched to further the investigation and other police authorities may be called.

The influencer's defense classified the statement as "absolutely absurd and irresponsible" and will analyze appropriate legal measures.

In a statement, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro informed that nothing will intimidate him or make him back down. "I will remain firm in defending the values I believe in. And I maintain my position: either the PCC and the CV surrender or leave Brazil by January 2027. Anyone who insists on maintaining their criminal activities will be arrested or neutralized."

This is not the first time that MC Misa has made accusations involving Deolane Bezerra. In 2024, the singer was sued for defamation after saying on the internet that she had "ordered" the death of then-partner MC Kevin.

Civil Police investigations into the case (which occurred in May 2021) were archived in 2022, concluding that the death was accidental, the result of a fall.
