See which companies and people the US has sanctioned for alleged links with the PCC

The United States sanctioned two Brazilian citizens and four companies, including two Brazilian companies, for alleged links with the PCC (First Command of the Capital). The announcement was made by the US Treasury Department this Wednesday (1st).

On May 28, the US announced that it had added the PCC and the Red Command to the group of terrorist organizations.

At the time, the American government pointed out that the influence and illicit networks of the two groups extend far beyond Brazil, including "throughout our region and into our country".

People sanctioned by the US are:

- Victor Henrique de Oliveira Shimada
- Stella Stefanie Nunes Henrique de Oliveira

And the companies are:

- Pixwave Soluções de Pagos LTDA, from Brazil;
- Victory Trading Intermediações de Negócios, Cobranças e Tecnologia LTDA, from Brazil;
- Wave Construções Inteligentes LDTA, from Brazil;
- Avenidas Flotuantes Unipessoal LDA, from Portugal;

In addition, the Chone Killer gang from Ecuador was also sanctioned.

According to the statement from the Treasury Department, the four listed companies would be linked to Victor Shimada.

The American government stated that the Brazilian is a link between the PCC in Florida and foreign drug traffickers. He allegedly laundered more than US$30 million in illicit resources generated in cities in and around the United States, using cryptocurrencies to transfer funds back to Brazil on behalf of the faction.
