Second season of Outlander "prequel" series gets premiere date

The second season of "Outlander: Blood of My Blood" premieres on September 18th, according to STARZ.

The first season of the series introduced the story of the parents of Claire and Jamie, protagonists of "Outlander", and their love stories.

The plot is set in two distinct periods: Jamie's parents in the Scottish Highlands, at the beginning of the 18th century, and Claire's parents in England, during the First World War.

The series also promises two new love stories - marked by loyalty, passion and desire.

The prequel stars actors Jeremy Irvine, Hermione Corfield, Jamie Roy and Harriet Slater. The first season is available on Disney+.
