Alanis Morissette and Michael Bublé are the stars of the second opening party of the 2026 World Cup. She is scheduled to sing Canada's anthem shortly before the ball rolls.
The ceremony began at around 2:30 pm and took place at the Toronto Stadium, in Canada, before the duel between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Before the musical performances, the event featured a tribute to the original Canadian peoples, with speeches in English and French, the country's official languages.

Singer Alessia Cara was responsible for the initial show.
Next, it was the turn of the trio Nora Fatehi, Vegedream, Sanjoy to perform "SIIR SIIR", a song that is part of the World Cup soundtrack.
Finally, Jessie Reyez and Elyanna performed singing "ILLUMINATE", a song from the official World Cup album.
The many empty seats in the stadium during the opening ceremony caught the attention of those watching the shows. Furthermore, the World Cup's cup structure presented problems -- and, obviously, made for good memes.
The third ceremony takes place at night, at SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles. The event starts around 90 minutes before the match between the United States and Paraguay, scheduled for 10pm (Brasília time). The event will feature performances by Anitta, Katy Perry, Lisa (BLACKPINK), Rema and Future
