Searches in Venezuela reach third day and death toll exceeds 900

The search for survivors in Venezuela reached its third day this Saturday (27), after earthquakes hit the country and left thousands of people homeless and missing.

Countries send aid to Venezuela
Several countries mobilized and sent rescue teams to Venezuela, after the country declared a state of emergency due to the earthquakes.

The interim president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stated that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, assured the American government's commitment to help the country affected by the natural disaster.

"They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting response efforts, sending rescue teams, specialized equipment, support for temporary shelters and humanitarian aid for affected families. We are deeply grateful for this gesture of friendship and cooperation.", said Rodríguez in a post on the social network X, on Friday (24).
