Savings accounts have a net inflow of R$2.6 billion in May, reveals BC
The savings account had a net inflow of R$2.604 billion in May, reported the BC (Central Bank) this Tuesday (9). Deposits totaled R$368.395 billion.
Meanwhile, withdrawals totaled R$365.791 billion. Considering the income of R$ 6.181 billion, the balance of the modality reached 1.014 trillion.
In the year to date, the savings account has net withdrawals of R$39.119 billion, with R$1.758 trillion in withdrawals and R$1.797 trillion in deposits.
Income in 2026, from January to May, is R$31.402 billion, according to the Central Bank.
