São Paulo advances agreement with Victor Sá and advances over competition

São Paulo signed an agreement with striker Victor Sá, 32, who is leaving Krasnodar, in Russia. The proposal presented by the São Paulo club was well evaluated by staff and players, leaving the contract to be signed.

São Paulo is confident in the positive closing of the deal and, at this moment, has surpassed the competition for the contract.

Krasnodar itself has shown interest in renewing the striker's contract, which ends at the end of June. Furthermore, Brazilian clubs investigated the athlete.

As Victor Sá is at the end of his contract, he would arrive at Tricolor free of charge for the transfer. In financial difficulties, the club seeks "market opportunities" during the - that is, the search is for athletes at the end of their contract or loan negotiations.

The transfer window opens at the beginning of June, when reinforcements can be officially registered.

Victor Sá had a notable spell at Botafogo, between 2022 and 2024. There were 93 games, 10 goals and eight assists distributed before the sale to Krasnodar, a club he has defended for three seasons - in the current one, the striker found the net five times and provided an assist in 29 matches in Russia.

In addition to the interest in Victor Sá, São Paulo's focus in the window is to sign a defender. Tricolor sees reinforcements for several positions, with defense being one of the most emergency sectors.
