Sandra Annenberg reacts to Tata Werneck's imitation on a comedy show
Presenter Sandra Annenberg, 58, commented last Wednesday (17) about the imitation that Tata Werneck, 42, made of her on the program "E.T.", from
Multishow, which stars alongside Eduardo Sterblitch, 39.
In participation in "Sem Censura", on TV Brasil, the journalist said that she was in a complete state of shock when she received the first cut of the sketch from the comedian. At the time, she was in the bathroom and decided to respond to the message she received on her cell phone.
"(I thought:) 'No, this isn't happening! What do you mean?! What is this?!'. I'm there and I start laughing, I laugh like I couldn't stop, I laugh out of breath, I start crying with laughter", said the presenter of "Globo Repórter".
Annenberg revealed that she sent a 2-minute audio just laughing and asking Tata what was what she had just watched. She then realized that the comedian was asking for her approval to air the painting.
"That's when I understood that it was a request. 'Do you authorize it?'. She saw my reaction, so...", said the journalist, making it clear that the tribute was more than approved.
What is "E.T."?
In "E.T.", Tata Werneck stars in sketches alongside Eduardo Sterblitch. Aired on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the program satires famous people and situations that are under discussion in the country.
In the first episode, the comedian imitates Sandra, while Edu plays a version of her husband, fellow journalist Ernesto Paglia. The moment gained strong repercussion on social media due to the similarity between the two celebrities' appearance and the absurd subjects covered in the painting.
