Corinthians' 1-0 victory over Sertãozinho, on the morning of last Sunday (5), in the fifth round of the Paulista Under-20 Championship, also marked a special moment for two of Timãozinho's reinforcements in 2026. Defender Zé Antônio and striker Ryan Evaristo made their debuts with the black and white shirt.
Of the two, Zé Antônio was the first to enter the field. The defender was called into action during stoppage time of the first stage, after a change made by William Batista's technical committee. Ryan Evaristo got his first opportunity in the 41st minute of the second half, replacing Cristian Júnior to play in the final minutes of the match.

The two athletes arrived at Corinthians at the beginning of this season to reinforce the Under-20 category and now officially join the list of players used by the coaching staff in official competitions.
Ryan Evaristo was announced by the club at the end of February, after standing out in the youth teams at Boavista-RJ. The striker signed a training contract with Timão and arrived as one of the reinforcements for the season. Before playing for the Rio club, the player also played for the youth teams in the West and his main characteristics are speed and versatility to play on the sides of the field or centrally in the offensive sector.
Even though he had been registered in the CBF's Daily Newsletter (BID) since the beginning of March, Ryan was waiting for his first opportunity on the field. It happened against Sertãozinho, when he entered the final stretch of the match and played his first minutes wearing the Corinthian shirt.
Zé Antônio arrived at Parque São Jorge in February, on loan from Santa Cruz, valid for one season. The agreement was signed without the transfer of the athlete's economic rights, which will be discussed between the clubs at the end of the contract.
Born in 2008, the defender gained prominence in the youth teams of the Pernambuco team. After arriving at Santa Cruz in 2024 to play for the Under-17s, he was promoted to the Under-20s at the age of 16 and participated in the 2026 São Paulo Junior Football Cup, starting in the team's three matches in the competition.
With the debuts of Zé Antônio and Ryan Evaristo, William Batista expands the cast options for the remainder of the season. Corinthians is in second place in Group 1 of the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20, with ten points won, the same score as leader Ferroviária, which has an advantage on goal difference.
Now, Timãozinho turns his attention to a decisive commitment. Next Wednesday (8), at 3pm (Brasília time), Corinthians will host Palmeiras, at Fazendinha, in the quarter-finals of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship.
