Rubio hopes future Latin American governments will join Trump's security alliance

Trump celebrated, on Tuesday (2), the result in the first round of the Colombian elections of the far-right presidential candidate Abelardo de la Espriella, who, in turn, declared his total support for Trump's security projects in the region.
De la Espriella is the favorite to win the second round, according to some polls.
Brazil, the largest country in Latin America, will hold elections in October, and Trump revealed his preference for Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), instead of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), with whom he met a month ago.
Flávio Bolsonaro is the eldest son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, a Trump ally who is in prison for an attempted coup d'état.
