Tennis player João Fonseca enters the court to face Dino Prizmic, in the second round of Roland Garros, with "a certain favoritism". This is what former tennis player André Ghem points out.

The clash, valid for the French Open, takes place this Wednesday (26), around 10:30 am (Brasília time) on the clay of court 14.

"João Fonseca enters with a certain favoritism against Dino Prizmic. He is a young, promising player, but João already has more experience, has played more Grand Slam matches, won bigger victories and has more experience", analyzed Ghem, currently a commentator for the ESPN channels.

Despite putting the 19-year-old Rio native ahead in the duel, the former tennis player recalled Prizmic's recent feat. He beat legend Novak Djokovic at the Rome Masters.

"Prizmic has been growing in recent weeks and has been improving in the rankings. The recent victory over Djokovic gives him muscle, but, on the ball, João has much more resources. The opponent is physically strong and should try to make the game more physical, but I believe in the Brazilian's victory", he added.

Seeded number 28 in the tournament, João debuted at Roland Garros, beating Frenchman Luka Pavlovic last Sunday (24).

If he advances to the third round, the Brazilian could face Djokovic. Owner of 24 Grand Slam titles, the Serb appears as a potential rival.

"Going through the last game, facing a Frenchman with the fans against, also helped João to take off that initial weight of the tournament. I think that now he will be able to develop even more in the competition", concluded André Ghem.
