Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026: find out what the last weekend of the festival was like

Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026, which took place on the 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th of June, concluded this Sunday (28th) after exciting the public with shows by Matuê, Filipe Ret, Karetus, The Boys of The Bands and Dennis.

The last weekend of the festival brought together renowned artists. On Saturday (27), the public was able to enjoy classics by Rod Stewart, the romantic samba by Brazilian Belo, as well as hits such as Cyndi Lauper, Joss Stone, Shaggy, The Wailers.

In addition, music lovers received performances by Brazilian artists Melly and Bento Gil.

Also on Saturday (27), one of the highlights was the broadcast of the match between Portugal x Colombia on the Mundo and Music Valley stages, in addition to the Arena Música e Futebol, which brought together hundreds of fans to watch the Portuguese team's game.

This Sunday (28), the public also watched performances by King Bigs, Lola Índigo, Rema, Savage and Dennis, who closed the night.

Matuê also made history by becoming the first Brazilian rapper to perform at the Palco Mundo do Rock in Rio Lisboa this Sunday (28). He performed tracks such as "777-666", "Kenny G", "Quer Voar" and "Crack com Mussilon".

The artist also sang the song "Rei Tuê" live for the first time. In addition, the performance featured special appearances by rappers Brandão, Cashley and Kouth.

On the closing day of the festival, Rock in Rio Lisboa took the opportunity to share the dates scheduled for next year's edition. In 2028, Parque Tejo Lisboa will once again host musical programming on the 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th of June.
