Relatives of plane crash pilot in RJ arrive at IML
Family and friends of pilot Alexandre Souza went, this Sunday (14), to the IML (Instituto Médico Legal Afrânio Peixoto), in Rio de Janeiro, after the crash of two helicopters in a vehicle yard in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the west zone of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
The accident, which occurred this Sunday (14), left six people dead. All the bodies of the victims were sent to the IML and await release.
The accident
Firefighters were called at 8:59 am to respond to the incident on Avenida das Américas. To date, there have been confirmations of six fatalities, all crew members of the aircraft involved in the accident, with five people in one helicopter and only the pilot in the other aircraft. See the list:

According to the Rio de Janeiro Fire Department, around 50 military personnel and 15 vehicles were involved in the incident: "The Recreio dos Bandeirantes Military Fire Detachment was immediately moved to the location, with the support of specialized teams from the Special Operations Group (GOEsp) and the Corporation's Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Coordination", states the corporation.
In a statement, the Civil Police reported that the case is ongoing at the 42nd DP (Recreio dos Bandeirantes). Forensic examination was requested for the location and agents are carrying out investigations to investigate the facts.
The incident, which is still ongoing, still has the support of the Fire Department, CET (Traffic Engineering Company), Comlurb and teams from the 31st BPM (Recreio dos Bandeirantes), who work to isolate the area.

The FAB (Brazilian Air Force) reported that it is already investigating the air accident through Cenipa (Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center).

The National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) informs that it has become aware of the air accident, involving two helicopters, today, June 14, in Rio de Janeiro, and is investigating the situation of the aircraft and pilots involved in the case. Investigations into the causes, in turn, will be conducted by the Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa).
Anac regrets what happened, sympathizes with the families and friends of the victims and reiterates to all passengers on so-called general aviation flights to check the status of companies and aircraft before boarding.
In addition, BYD (Build Your Dreams), the brand of electric vehicles that were in the yard where the aircraft crashed, also published a note of condolence and stated that it continues to monitor the situation closely.
