The notice, published at the beginning of the month by the Ministry of Education (MEC), through Sesu (Secretary of Higher Education), has vacancies destined for broad competition and quotas for self-declared black, brown, indigenous, quilombola and people with disabilities.
Students interested in participating in the selection process must register exclusively online, through the program page. The link is available on the program's Single Access Portal. Registration is free and candidates who meet the following requirements can apply:

The Fies Social program will have specific vacancies: 50% of the vacancies will be allocated to candidates with a per capita family income of up to half a minimum wage, registered in CadÚnico (Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government) with updated registration. When pre-selected by Fies Social, they will be able to request financing of up to 100% of the course's educational costs.
The result will be in a single call, announced on May 7th. Between May 8th and 11th, selected candidates must validate the information declared in the application directly to the CPSA (Permanent Supervision and Monitoring Committee) of the chosen higher education institution. Those who are not pre-selected in the single call will be automatically included on the waiting list, which will be called from May 15th to 29th.
