Registration deadline for Enem 2026 is extended; see new date
The Ministry of Education (MEC) extended registration for Enem 2026 (National High School Exam), which would end this Friday (5), at 11:59 pm. Now, students have gained another week and registrations close next Friday, June 12th. Inep confirmed the information to CNN Brasil.
The deadline for paying the registration fee - for those who do not have the exemption - has also been increased by another week. The amount of R$85 can be paid until June 17th (previously payment could be made until the 10th).
The exam date remains the same and will be administered on the 8th and 15th of November. Starting this year, students in the 3rd year of high school in the country's public network will be automatically enrolled in the test, according to an announcement from the MEC (Ministry of Education).
Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira), which organizes Enem, has expanded the conditions for receiving specialized care.
Now, candidates diagnosed with fibromyalgia and mental disorders - such as anxiety attacks, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) - can receive differentiated support on test days, such as a companion (family or professional) or an emotional support dog.
The companion must stay in a reserved room monitored by inspectors and will only be called if the participant needs support or stabilization during the exam.

- Registration: from May 25th to June 12th;
- Payment of the registration fee: from May 25th to June 17th;
- Request for treatment by social name: from May 25th to June 5th;
- Request for specialized service: from May 25th to June 5th;
- Result of specialized service: June 19th;
- Service resource specialized: from the 22nd to the 26th of June;
- Result of the appeal: 3rd of July;
- Administration of the tests: 8th and 15th of November.
