Real Time: Mauro Mendes and Janaína Riva are favorites for the Senate in MT
New electoral research released by the Real Time Big Data institute this Tuesday (2) shows that Mauro Mendes (União) and Janaína Riva (MDB) are the favorites for the two Senate seats in the state of Mato Grosso. According to the survey, the former governor has 29% of voting intentions while the state deputy appears with 24%.
Next are the former Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Carlos Fávaro (PSD), with 15% of intentions, followed by José Medeiros (PL), with 10%; Pedro Taques (PSB), with 6%; Antônio Galvan (Avante), with 4%; Margareth Buzetti (PP), with 2%; and Altir Peruzzo (PT), also with 2%.
Those who would vote blank and invalid are 4% of voters, while those who don't know or didn't respond were also 4% of the intentions.
The favoritism of the two names continues compared to the last survey carried out in March, despite the record of a drop in voting intentions for the former governor, who had 31% in the last survey against 23% for the deputy, in the same period.
Methodology
The Real Time Big Data Institute interviewed 1,600 voters in Mato Grosso between May 30th and June 1st. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, with a confidence level of 95%. The research is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under protocol MT - 01755/2026.
