Former governor Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) leads the race for the Presidency of the Republic in the state of Goiás with 37% of voting intentions in a possible first round, according to a survey released by the Real Time Big Data institute this Thursday (9).

Next, current president Lula (PT) reaches 27% of the votes and senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) scores 25%. The difference of two points between the two constitutes a technical tie at the limit of the margin of error.

Then comes Renan Santos (Missão), with 3%. Romeu Zema (Novo), Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG), Joaquim Barbosa (DC) and Augusto Cury (Avante) have 1% each.

Pre-candidates Cabo Daciolo (Mobiliza), Rui Costa Pimenta (PCO), Samara Martins (UP), Hertz Dias (PSTU) and Edmilson Costa (PCB) together accounted for 1% of voting intentions and are categorized in the survey as "others".

Blank and invalid votes total 2%, while 1% of voters did not know or did not respond.

Methodology
The Real Time Big Data survey interviewed 1,600 people between the 7th and 8th of July. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level is 95%.

The survey was carried out with the institute's own resources and is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under protocol BR-02402/2026.
