Real Madrid plans to sign Spanish starter

Real Madrid has signed Marc Cucurella, Chelsea's left-back and member of Spain's 2026 World Cup squad. The information was published by journalist Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist.

According to the professional, Real Madrid will pay 60 million euros (R$ 351.5 million) to Chelsea to confirm the operation for Cucurella. The 27-year-old player would arrive at the Spanish club after the World Cup.

Active in the ball market, Real Madrid has made several moves to reinforce the squad. The club signed full-back Dumfries and defender Konaté, as well as confirming the arrival of coach José Mourinho.

The Spanish club is also interested in signing midfielder Bernardo Silva, who left Manchester City. Real is competing for the Portuguese player with rivals Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona.

With Cucurella, Spain debuts in the World Cup this Monday (15), against Cape Verde, at 1 pm (Brasília time).
