Raphinha's injury raises alarm in Barcelona

Barcelona is seeking information about the health status of striker Raphinha from the CBF medical team and the player's staff. The striker for the Seleção and the Spanish club is treating an injury to his right thigh suffered in the match against Haiti, on 19/06, 14 days ago.

As reported by CNN Brasil, the club is in a state of alert regarding the star's health condition and what his return to European football will be like after the World Cup.

Last season, Raphinha was out for 112 days due to four different thigh injuries.

Injury treatment
Since his injury during the World Cup, the player has participated in an intense treatment protocol.

This Thursday (2), the striker trained alone on the field for around 30 minutes. The idea is to continue the physical transition process that began this week.

The CNN report said that his participation in the game against Norway (5), in the round of 16, is uncertain.

The Seleção's medical team adopts caution in releasing the athlete. According to CBF sources, there is a fear that the injury could worsen and the player's performance on the field may be below expectations.
