Quina de São João: Goiás pool bets R$ 135 thousand for a prize of R$ 250 million

The group from Goiás that gained prominence by registering a prize pool worth R$ 13 million for the 2025 Mega da Virada once again bet big, this time at Quina de São João. With a prize estimated at R$ 250 million, the special contest will be drawn on the day June 28.

Formed by around 100 people, the group is organized by Sergeant Glaciel Andrade, from Cachoeira Dourada, in the southern region of Goiás. Bettors registered 15 games with 15 numbers each, the maximum allowed in the sport. According to the organizer, the total investment exceeds R$ 135 thousand and brings together 225 dozens.
"Of the 80 numbers, we are playing with 225 numbers distributed on 15 cards of 15 numbers", he explained.

To g1, Glaciel said that approximately 60% of the 150 quotas have already been sold and that there are still vacancies for new ones participants. According to him, the group also offers smaller pools, with bets of eight and nine tens, to meet different profiles of bettors.
"The smaller group is so that we can serve all audiences and, with faith, achieve our objective, which is the main prize. The Quina de São João prize does not accumulate, so our group's expectations are the best possible", he stated.

How the Quina de São João works
According to the Caixa Econômica Federal, the special edition of competition 7051 does not accumulate. If no bettor matches the five numbers drawn, the prize will be divided between the winners of the next bracket, with four correct guesses, and so on, according to the rules of the modality.
The Quina de São João is one of the Caixa Lotteries' special competitions and usually attracts bettors from all over the country as it offers higher prizes.
Draw
The draw for competition 7051 will be held at Espaço da Sorte, located at Avenida Paulista, no. 750, in São Paulo. The transmission will be carried out through the official channels of Loterias Caixa.
Other bets
At the end of 2025, a group organized by the sergeant bet around R$13 million in jackpots for Mega da Virada, which accumulated R$1 billion. After the draw, the group won more than R$ 1.1 million by matching 45 corners and 2,020 squares.
In April this year, the group made another bet of 20 numbers for the amount of R$ 232 thousand to compete for the prize of R$ 115 million at the time, but did not win any prize.
