The Genial/Quaest survey released this Wednesday (10) indicates that 38% of voters evaluate the work of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) as negative, against 34% who consider him positive.

Another 26% of those interviewed consider the PT administration to be regular and 2% did not know or did not respond.

The negative assessment varied by 1 percentage point, following a downward trend that began in March this year. The index was at 39% in May and now records 38%. The positive evaluation repeated the value of 34% and is the highest since the beginning of the historical series.

Those who judge performance as average also fluctuated 1 percentage point, from 25% to 26% this month.

Approval
The survey also tested the approval of the Lula government.

Of the total number of respondents, 48% disapprove of the president's performance, compared to 47% who approve of him.

Methodology
Genial/Quaest interviewed 2,004 voters, between the 5th and 8th of June, through a face-to-face interview. The survey's margin of error is 2 percentage points, plus or minus, with a 95% confidence interval.

The research was contracted by Banco Genial and is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under protocol BR-07661/2026.
