In the Champions League final, PSG defeated Arsenal on penalties, this Saturday (30), after a 1-1 draw in regular time. Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli and Marquinhos, players called up by Carlo Ancelotti for the World Cup, were present in the decision, held at the Puskás Arena, in Budapest.

In a confrontation marked by the control of the French team, Gabriel Magalhães was one of the pillars of the English defense. He commanded the sector throughout the game, showing firmness in making tackles and removing the Paris team's dangerous moves.

However, in the maximum penalties, Magalhães wasted his penalty. He hit over the goal, a mistake that won the title in favor of the French team.

Marquinhos, in turn, directly participated in the goal scored by Arsenal. After just five minutes, he tried to avoid a dangerous arrival from the Gunners and ended up hitting an opposing player. The ball fell to striker Kai Havertz, who invaded the area and scored the ball to open the scoring.

Martinelli, meanwhile, started the final on the London club's bench. He came on in the 38th minute of the second half, replacing Belgian Leandro Trossard. On the field, the striker barely participated in the offensive sector, despite contributing to the marking in moments without the ball. During the penalty shootout, the 24-year-old winger finished with great precision and scored.
