President of Corinthians leaves for the United States for CBF event

On Thursday night (11), the president of Corinthians, Osmar Stabile, leaves for the United States to participate in an immersive event held by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). The main Brazilian football entity, in addition to members of state federations, will bring together managers from Series A and B teams of the Brazilian Championship to delve deeper into the management model of the North American football league, Major League Soccer.
The Corinthians representative is the only member of the club's current board of directors to be involved in the action promoted by the CBF. The event will last until next Sunday (14). The information was initially published by the Alambrado Alvinegro portal and confirmed by the Central do Timão report. The Brazilian Football Confederation sees the American management model as "a global reference in the organization of sporting events and the development of business strategies for sport."

The immersive activities will begin this Friday (12) and, as mentioned, focused on two aspects of MLS: the arrival of big names in international football such as Luís Suárez and Lionel Messi to North American football, and former players who currently work as investors, such as David Beckham at Inter Miami, the team in which the Uruguayan and Argentine play.
The next day, the agenda will be the analysis of leagues for other sports that are success stories in the country. Finally, the directors will be present at the Brazilian team's debut at the 2026 World Cup, against Morocco, which will take place at the MetLife Stadium, next Saturday (13), in New Jersey, seeking their sixth world championship.
Meanwhile, Corinthians continues to have important issues to be resolved. This Friday (12), the deadline imposed by Talleres, from Argentina, for the payment of a debt of seven million dollars (around R$35 million) between Alvinegro and the Argentines for the signing of midfielder Rodrigo Garro, in January 2024, ends. United.
