The president of Corinthians, Osmar Stabile, was included as an investigator in the criminal procedure conducted by the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MP-SP) which investigates possible irregularities in the hiring of a security company to work at the club. According to Meu Timão, the decision was taken by prosecutor Cassio Conserino, responsible for investigations related to the latest actions of the black and white team.
According to documents from the prosecutor's office, Stabile's inclusion occurred after investigations had progressed and new elements considered relevant to the case had been analyzed. Among them is the testimony of Fábio Soares, former administrative director of Corinthians, who told the MP-SP that the emergency hiring of the security company would have been determined by the current president of the club.

Another point taken into consideration by investigators is the situation of Fernando José da Silva, owner of the contracted company. According to the investigation, he also maintained a professional relationship with Corinthians during the period in which the services were provided.
The prosecution also points out a discrepancy in the information presented. A document sent to the Military Police on May 23, 2026 would have been signed by Fernando José da Silva as operational manager of Corinthians, requesting an escort for the black and white delegation in a commitment to the Copa Libertadores. This fact contrasts with information previously sent by the club to the Public Ministry, which indicated the professional's activity only between September and October 2025.
Based on these elements, the MP-SP decided to expand the procedure and formally include Osmar Stabile among those investigated. The director must provide clarifications to prosecutors at a hearing scheduled for June 23, at 11:15 am. Access to the process has already been made available to the defense of the Corinthian president.
In addition to Stabile's hearing, the prosecutor's office also requested new documents related to the case from Corinthians. Among the requests are copies of the letter sent to the Military Police and additional information about people mentioned in the same document.
Understand the investigation
The investigation involves the hiring of the company Mega Assessoria Operacional Ltda., opened in July 2025 by Fernando José da Silva. According to information previously disclosed, the company provided services at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava and Parque São Jorge between September and October of that year.
The case began to be investigated after questions about the company's performance in the private security segment and the formalization of services provided to the club. According to the documents analyzed by the Public Ministry, three invoices were issued which, together, exceed R$ 676 thousand.
The descriptions of the services presented in the documents vary between consultancy, assistance and surveillance, which is also part of the investigations conducted by the prosecutor's office.
In previous statements, Osmar Stabile stated that the hiring took place in a context of reorganization of Corinthians' internal security following episodes of invasion in the club's administrative areas. The president declared that he requested reinforcement in the security structure, but denied having participated in the creation of the company or having prior knowledge of its opening.
The repercussion of the case also resulted in the removal of the then administrative director Fábio Soares during the investigations. The director later left his position.
The Public Prosecutor's Office continues to investigate possible irregularities related to payments made, including suspicions of misrepresentation, use of an intermediary and other infractions that may have occurred during the hiring process. Fernando José da Silva is also expected to give a statement to the prosecution in the coming days.
Corinthians will have a deadline determined by the MP-SP to present the requested documentation and collaborate with the progress of the investigations.
