Post Malone talks about Oliver Tree's death and dedicates show to his friend
Singer Post Malone, 30, spoke for the first time about his friend and singer Oliver Tree, who died last Sunday (14) in a plane crash in Rio de Janeiro. At a show in Toronto, Canada, in the early hours of this Wednesday (17), the rapper dedicated the performance to his longtime friend.
"A celebration of the life of an absolutely beautiful man", began the singer, moved. "A gentleman I knew, he was beautiful and inspired the world with his heart, just his heart and soul. Ladies and gentlemen, we have lost a beautiful man named Oliver Tree," he said, drawing applause from the audience.
Oliver would have turned 33 at the end of June. He has built a career marked by music of different genres and a presence on social media with an eccentric character and style. The Californian artist was in Brazil for shows on his international tour "World's First World Tour".
In addition to him, Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, known as Gaspar, and Brazilian producer and DJ Lucas Frota also died, totaling six fatalities in the accident.
