During the morning of last Saturday (27), Corinthians faced Três Milênio, at Ceret, in a duel valid for their seventh match of the first phase of the 2026 Paulista Under-17 Championship, and won by the score of 3 x 2, an upset. With the triumph, Timãozinho reached 16 points in Group 12 of the state, occupying third place - five wins, one draw and one defeat - 26 goals scored and eight conceded.

The first two placed are Ibrachina (21 points - 100%) and Juventude (18 points in eight matches). The three points also moved the Filhos do Terrão's artillery ranking for the year. By scoring, striker Miguel Moscardo, brother of midfielder Gabriel Moscardo, another Son of Terrão, remained the U17's second top scorer, scoring seven goals in nine matches.

The young man's performance draws attention, as until last year, he was in the Under-15 category. Center forward Thiago Coelho, in turn, appears right behind Moscardo. With the goal scored in the match against the Third Millennium, he reached his sixth goal in 11 matches this season. He is also enjoying his first year with the Under-17s.

For his part, midfielder Lucas Lopes, another great promise from the Corinthians academy and who has been called up to the Brazilian youth teams, scored his second goal of the year - in eight matches - and joined Jerry Vinicius and Natham William. Brenno Augusto, Léo Amistá, Luan Banhado, Gabriel Cordeiro, Ronaldo Henrique, Matheus Rocha, Kevin Fernando and Rafael Guarnieri close the list with one goal scored each.

After overcoming the Third Millennium, away from home, in the Paulista Under-17 Championship, Corinthians turns its attention to the category's Brasileirão. Next Tuesday (30), at 3pm, Timãozinho will visit Santos, at CT Rei Pelé, for the sixth round of the first phase of the national competition. Currently, Alvinegro occupies fourth place with 10 points - three wins, one draw and one defeat - 16 goals scored and four conceded.
