Portugal x Nigeria: time and where to watch the pre-World Cup friendly

Portugal and Nigeria face each other this Wednesday (10), at 4:45 pm (Brasília time), in the Portuguese team's last friendly before the kick-off of the 2026 World Cup.

The duel takes place at the Dr. Magalhães Pessoa Stadium, in the city of Leiria. SporTV (closed TV) broadcasts the match exclusively, while CNN Esportes follows the game in real time.

In search of an unprecedented title, Portugal arrives at the tournament in an attempt to crown the career of star Cristiano Ronaldo with winning the World Cup. Roberto Martínez's squad includes some highlights from European football, such as full-back Nuno Mendes, defender Rúben Dias and midfielders João Neves and Vitinha.

The Portuguese team is part of Group K of the World Cup and will make its debut on June 17th, against DR Congo, at 2pm. The African country, in fact, was the one who eliminated Nigeria in the play-off of the Qualifiers, winning the direct confrontation on penalty kicks.
