Police find body of young woman who had been kidnapped inside her home

The body of a teenager was found, on Tuesday night (7), in a forested area in the interior of the municipality of Nova Erechim, in the west of Santa Catarina.

The 17-year-old girl had been missing since Saturday (4).

Two suspects, aged 25 and 20, were arrested in the act, and a third person under investigation was identified but has not been located so far.

According to the Civil Police, the suspects entered the young woman's home, in the municipality of Maravilha (SC), and kidnapped her. Since Saturday (4), the PC, together with the Military Police, investigated the case in search of the teenager.

After locating the suspects' car, agents found the young woman dead in Nova Erechim. Her body had injuries caused by gunshots.

One of the suspects was arrested in Maravilha and the other in Cunha Porã. The third party under investigation is still being sought.
