Police discover 'biqueira' in upscale area of SP near Faria Lima
The Civil Police of São Paulo, with support from the Municipal Guard, identified and dismantled, this Tuesday (16), a 'biqueira' that operated as a drug sales point in the middle of the av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima, one of the main financial centers in the country.
The investigation that resulted in the arrest of two suspects after days of monitoring and compliance with court warrants, is part of Operation Gladiator.
According to an investigation report prepared by the 15th Police District, in Itaim Bibi, agents carried out a campaign near a condominium located on Rua Coliseu. During surveillance, police officers recorded movement of people, the presence of users and the sale of drugs in a residential area at the location.
Investigators say they were able to identify two suspects identified as responsible for the criminal activity.
The images obtained by the investigation show one of the suspects in the vicinity of the property moments before sales began. Another person involved was recorded at different times alongside regulars and users who, according to the police, were looking for the address to buy drugs.
The report includes photographs and video records that document movement at the site.

The aerial images recorded the approach of users, the stay of those investigated at the point of sale and alleged drug negotiations carried out outside the property.

In one of the records cited by the investigation, a man appears leaving the place shortly after an alleged purchase of drugs.
After documenting the activities, the police entered the property to carry out court orders. The suspects were arrested and the drugs that, according to the investigation, were being sold were seized.

Investigation
The report also points to the participation of a third suspect, who has not yet been identified. The man, described as someone wearing white shorts, appears in images obtained during the operation and was allegedly caught selling drugs.
The Civil Police informed that his identification should be subject to additional investigations.
In conclusion of the document, the investigators state that the images captured both in the bell and by the drone made it possible to prove the sale of drugs at the address, identify those being investigated and support the arrests made during the action.
