PM opens 2 thousand vacancies with salaries of R$5.5 thousand; see how to participate
The Military Police of São Paulo opened, on Monday (15), registrations for another public competition with 2 thousand Student-Soldier vacancies. The positions are for female and male professionals with a secondary level of education.
The initial remuneration provided for in the notice is R$ 5,482.52 and the registration fee, which can be completed until 11:59 pm on August 21st, is R$ 100. Registration is available on the Vunesp website, but can also be carried out in physical Poupatempo units, through the "Poupatempo Digital" sector.
Candidates who prove recurring blood donation may be completely exempt from paying the registration fee. In addition, a 50% reduction will be applied to students regularly enrolled in high school, pre-university courses or higher education, at undergraduate or postgraduate level, who receive monthly remuneration of less than 2 minimum wages or who are unemployed.
According to the State of SP, as a Student-Soldier, the candidate will have to perform the function of "ostensible policing" and "preservation of public order". However, only those with a minimum age of 17 or a maximum of 30 years old, who have completed high school and have a minimum height of 1.55 m and 1.60 m for women and men, respectively, will be selected.
As requirements for possession after approval, the candidate must be qualified to drive vehicles between categories "B" and "E" and not have a criminal record in the last 5 years, in addition to other prerequisites set out in the notice.

The test will be held in two stages in more than 50 cities in São Paulo and 14 capitals in other states of the Federation. The first phase consists of an objective examination of Portuguese Language, Mathematics, general knowledge, basic computer skills and notions of Public Administration. For this stage, there will be 60 multiple choice questions.
Part two will assess the candidate's ability to produce an essay, through an essay test administered on the same day as the first stage. In total, there will be five hours of evaluation.
In addition to the tests, candidates will also undergo physical fitness, health and psychological exams, all of an eliminatory nature. The following tests will be applied:
- flexion and extension of elbows, using the dynamic fixed bar test, for men, and isometry test on the fixed bar for women; toxicological;
- assessment of cognitive and personality characteristics.
After starting the position, candidates remain on probation for three years as a PM Student-Soldier. After the period, if approved, the student will be promoted to PM Soldier.
