After "Shrek, the Musical" comes to an end, Teatro Renault hosts the musical play "Meu Filho É Um Musical", which arrives in São Paulo on August 20th. The work pays homage to the trajectory of actor and comedian Paulo Gustavo (1978-2021), and is on display in Rio de Janeiro until July 19th.

"Meu Filho É Um Musical" was created by Paulo Gustavo's mother, Déa Lúcia, and sister, Ju Amaral. The montage goes from the star's childhood in Niterói to his national recognition, highlighting his precocious talent, unique humor and ability to transform personal stories into public phenomena.

The montage also highlights the central relationship between mother and son, which gave rise to iconic characters such as Dona Hermínia.

The cast includes Pierre Baitelli (Paulo Gustavo as an adult), João Pedro Chaseliov (young), Stella Maria Rodrigues (Dona Déa), Castorine (Ju Amaral), Marcelo Várzea (Júlio), Lucas Colombo (Thales Bretas), Josie Antello (aunt Iesa), Miguel Venerabile, Guilherme Baleixo and Gabriel Gentil alternating in the actor's childhood.

The show has text by Fil Braz, Paulo Gustavo's creative partner in projects such as "220 Volts" and the "Minha Mãe É Uma Peça" trilogy, and has dramaturgical collaboration with anthropologist Beatriz Coelho. The direction is signed by Ju Amaral and João Fonseca. The music and lyrics are by Daniel Salve, with musical direction and arrangements by Tony Lucchesi.

Tickets for "Meu Filho É Um Musical" can be purchased through the Tickets For Fun platform. Currently, there are sessions scheduled until October 11th. Tickets range from R$360 to R$50.
