The leader of the PL (Liberal Party) in the Chamber of Deputies, Sóstenes Cavalcante (RJ), stated that the party will vote this Wednesday (27) for the end of the 6×1 work schedule and will highlight in defense of the 4×3 shift.

"Since they want to help the worker, I want to see tomorrow the PT members putting their fingerprints. We are going to vote on the end of the 6×1 scale to approve as a highlight, preferably, the four-day working day for the worker to rest for three. This is what we will present to the plenary of this House tomorrow", said Sóstenes in a speech from the Chamber's rostrum on Tuesday (26).

The special commission that discusses the PEC (Proposed Amendment to the Constitution) at the end of the 6×1 must vote this Wednesday on the opinion of the rapporteur, deputy Leo Prates (Republicanos-BA).

After a week of delay in the schedule, Prates presented his report last Monday (25). However, a request from deputy Mauricio Marcon (PL-RS) postponed the vote.

In order for two plenary sessions to be held and voting to be resumed, the Chamber held an eight-minute session this morning.

The meeting was chaired by deputy Charles Fernandes (PSD-BA). No votes were taken. Representative Jorge Solla (PT-BA) was the only one to speak in the House's gallery and spoke in defense of reducing working hours.
