Pile between four trucks and a car causes 8km queue in SP

A pileup between four trucks and a car on the Régis Bittencourt highway, on Wednesday afternoon (3), led to a traffic jam.

The accident occurred at km 357.5 of BR-116/SP, in Miracatu, in the interior of São Paulo, towards Curitiba.

Two people were slightly injured.

According to drivers at the scene, traffic was completely stopped for about an hour.

Arteris, the highway concessionaire, reported that it was called to respond to the incident.

As a result of the accident, the track remains completely closed, resulting in an 8-kilometer queue. Arteris teams work on site.

The minor victims were taken to the Juquitiba Emergency Room.
