Petrobras reduces the price of aviation kerosene by 14.2%

Petrobras will reduce the average selling price of QAV (aviation kerosene) to distributors by 14.2% from June onwards, which corresponds to a decrease of R$0.93 per liter compared to the previous month, the state-owned company said in a statement this Monday (1st).

The drop in aviation fuel prices, which follows successive increases since March, reflects the "mitigation of the scenario of rising international prices" caused by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, said Petrobras.

Petrobras' QAV adjustments occur every beginning of the month, as provided for in contracts.

According to the state-owned company, this year, QAV prices have increased by 54.5%, equivalent to an increase of R$1.98 per liter, compared to the price in force in December 2025.
