Pep Guardiola says goodbye to Manchester City with an emotional speech; look

Manchester City announced this Friday (22) the departure of coach Pep Guardiola, who led the English club for the last 10 years.

In a video published by the Citizens on social media, the trained Catalan gave an emotional speech to say goodbye to the fans, in which he even mentioned Noel Gallagher, a member of Oasis and an illustrious City fan.

"What wonderful moments we had together. Don't ask the reasons why I'm leaving. There is no reason. But deep down I know that the time has come. Nothing is eternal, and if it were, it would be here. Eternal will be the feeling, it will be the people, the love I feel for my Manchester City", began Guardiola.

Hired in 2016, the coach won 20 titles with the club, including the unprecedented Champions League and six English league cups.

In his speech, Pep Guardiola also thanked the Citizens staff and the players who were managed by him.

Guardiola is still teasing the return of Oasis, the Gallagher brothers' band that announced their return to the stage in 2024.

"Oasis is back. So, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for trusting me. Noel, I was right. It was a lot of fun**", concluded Pep.
