People get stuck on a roller coaster in the United States

People were trapped on a malfunctioning roller coaster at an amusement park in Galveston, Texas, on Thursday (28), authorities said.

Rescue teams went to the amusement park and freed people from the attraction on Thursday (28).

Images showed firefighters at the city's Pleasure Pier positioning a ladder truck under one of the carriages with eight trapped passengers.

They guided them out of the attraction and everyone went down the stairs.

Authorities told the media that the car was suspended 30.4 meters high on the Iron Shark roller coaster after becoming stuck at around 5:20 pm local time.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
